It’s a astonishing bright 1-bedroom apartment in the most authentic and beautiful “sestiere” of Venice, in a quiet context and close to the main landmarks.
Its modern twist style of the impressive sized building with prime-quality fabrics will make you feel home in a real venetian house, not in a Swedish furniture shop.
Also supermarket around the block and nearby bakery, patisserie, nice restaurants & wine bars, pretty shops . Oh yeah, dry-cleaner and laundromat as well, you know.
Air-con, heating and WiFi are available, of course.
Preamble. In 2019 we had almost 38 mln visitors in town. Residents: less than 50,000. Indeed, tourism is the main industry here. However, these numbers are way over the carrying capacity. While enjoying our beloved city, please keep in mind these guidelines for a more sustainable visit. Thank you.

Let me tell you also that..
Google and Apple Maps can get you everywhere in the world, but in Venice they don’t work too well. Why? Well:
1) can’t suggest you the best itineraries
2) do not consider bridges, your worst enemies when you got luggage to carry
3) the GPS location fails when you are in our narrow streets
4) many calli (“streets”) got the same name and are way far from each other
5) address numbers are not continuous as in other cities

The walk from Ospedale Stop to Ca’ Zora Contemporary and Baroque
No matter how you reach Venice and Ospedale stop from Venice airport, here it is the short walk you need to do to arrive home.

Once you hopped off the boat, keep on walking in the same direction you were navigating. Turn right when you are facing a big metal gate: you should be in Calle Cappucine. Walk and turn right when you see a funeral service agency: you should be now in Calle de Cafetier.
Few steps and turn left at the flower corner shop in Calle Muazzo and walk it all along, take Sotoportego Muazzo pass the bridge and walk till the end of it. When you walk over the stone bridge and all the way down, go left. Walk up to the canal. Over the canal you can see a wide sunny square and a majestic building facing you (former church, now Ocean Space exhibition centre). The apartment is just next to it on the right, at the 5067 (doorbell n.12).

Coming home by watertaxi
Alternatively to public transportation (bus + waterbus), you may consider the beautiful experience of approaching Venice by watertaxi. Here is what you need to know:
- Rates: from €80 for 2 people from the train station or cruise terminal, from €140 for 2 people from Marco Polo Airport
- Book it here
- Private shared watertaxi: some agencies online provide such a service, which is halfway between a direct waterbus and a private watertaxi. I’m not a big fan of it.
